Our cute little niece Andi had open heart surgery last Monday. She had a heart murmur, so they had to operate on her valve. It was so scary, because she was only 8 days old. The surgery went well and she is recovering. She got to home this weekend, which is awesome. Unfortunately Afton and Brian live in Texas, so the family hasn’t been able to help out as much as we would have liked to, but they are always in our thoughts and prayers. I am so glad that Andi is home and I hope that she will continue gain weight and get stronger and healthier.

Oh, Fiola, I'm so glad that everything went well with the surgery. There were concerns about Mandy's heart when she was born and I had to take her to a specialist, but luckily everything was okay. I can only imagine how difficult that must have been.
